tendo Platform Privacy Notice
This page describes what we collect when you use tendo and how we keep that data protected. We at tendo handle your personal information with care, following clear rules about storage, sharing, and your rights.
Our platform serves account holders across supported jurisdictions where local law permits. We collect only the information needed to verify your identity, process your transactions, and keep your account secure. Your data stays with us unless we must share it with payment processors, regulators, or fraud-prevention partners.
We undertake to be transparent about what we do with your information and to respect your choices about how we use it.
What we collect on tendo
When you open an account on tendo, we ask for your name, email, phone number, and date of birth. We also collect your residential address and national identity number to verify who you are. This process, called KYC (Know Your Customer), is how we confirm your identity before you can deposit or withdraw funds.
We collect transaction data: every deposit, withdrawal, and bet you place. We record the payment method you use—whether DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or your bank (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet)—along with the amount and timestamp. We also log your login history, device information, and IP address to detect unusual account activity.
We track your gameplay: which games you play, how long you play, and your account balance. This helps us understand how our platform is used and spot patterns that might indicate problem behaviour or fraud. We do not sell this data to third parties.
How we use your data
We use your personal information to:
- Verify your identity and comply with anti-money-laundering rules.
- Process your deposits and withdrawals through payment partners.
- Send you account notifications, transaction receipts, and security alerts.
- Investigate fraud, disputes, and account misuse.
- Improve our platform's security and performance.
- Respond to legal requests from regulators or law enforcement.
We do not use your data to send marketing emails unless you opt in. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers. Our payment processors (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, and your bank) see only the information needed to complete your transaction.
If you access tendo from Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, or Medan, your data may be stored on servers outside Indonesia. We apply the same security standards regardless of server location.
Your rights on tendo
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete. You can also request that we delete your data, though we may need to keep some records for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.
If you believe we have misused your information, you can lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.
You can update your account settings, reset your password, and enable two-factor authentication at any time. Two-factor authentication adds a second security step when you log in, making it harder for others to access your account.
Cookies and tracking on tendo
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use them to track how you move through our platform so we can spot technical problems and improve your experience.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of tendo may not work properly without them. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
We use analytics tools to count how many people visit tendo and which pages they view. These tools do not identify you personally; they show us trends so we can make the platform better.
Data security and retention
We encrypt your data in transit and at rest using industry-standard methods. Our servers are protected by firewalls and monitored for intrusions. We limit access to your information to staff who need it to do their job.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. After you close your account, we retain records for seven years to comply with anti-money-laundering rules and to resolve disputes. We delete data sooner if you request it and we have no legal reason to keep it.
If there is a data breach, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law. We maintain cyber-liability insurance and conduct regular security audits.
This privacy notice applies to all users of tendo, regardless of where you access the platform. We update this notice when our practices change. The most recent version is always available on this page. Your continued use of tendo means you accept these terms.
